This course provides a thorough and structured journey through the logo design process — from understanding logo types to finalizing and presenting a brand identity. I really liked how the course broke down complex ideas like versatility, scalability, and color psychology into simple, actionable steps. The combination of lessons, quizzes, and assignments kept me engaged and gave me plenty of opportunities to practice. The section on vector design tools and typography was especially valuable for building technical skills. For improvement, I think, including more feedback opportunities on assignments, perhaps through peer reviews or sample solutions, to better understand how to refine ideas would be great. A section on how to handle client feedback and revisions and modify accordingly would be a useful addition for anyone preparing for freelance or professional work. It would also be valuable to include an optional module on protecting your logo legally, covering the basics of trademarks and copyright for beginners. Overall, this course helped me not only design logos with greater confidence but also think strategically about brand identity and presentation.

This course is an excellent step-by-step guide to logo design that balances creative thinking with practical skills. I appreciated how it started by explaining the purpose and different types of logos, which laid a solid foundation. The lessons on design principles like simplicity, versatility, and brand relevance helped me understand what makes a logo effective and timeless. The sketching and ideation section encouraged me to brainstorm original ideas before moving to digital tools, which was very helpful. Learning vector design basics and how to apply typography and color psychology made the digitizing process approachable. The final module on exporting logos and creating brand presentations was especially valuable—it gave me the confidence to deliver professional logo packages. Adding more interactive tutorials for the vector tools would help beginners get hands-on faster. Some lessons could use more in-depth explanations of typography choices and color combinations. Overall, this course boosted my confidence and ability to create and present logos that truly represent a brand’s identity.

This course offered a solid foundation in logo design, guiding me from understanding brand purpose to creating and exporting a final logo. I especially enjoyed the sketching and ideation phase—it helped spark creativity and refine my concepts. The digitizing section was clear and practical, making design tools feel accessible. The final module on presenting logos was a great touch, adding a professional edge. I do wish there were more real brand case studies, but overall, the course helped me build confidence in creating logos that communicate identity effectively.

What I liked: This course does a fantastic job of breaking down the logo design process into digestible steps—from research to concept to execution. I really appreciated the focus on brand alignment—it helped me understand that a logo isn't just a graphic, it's a strategic asset. The assignments were practical and pushed me to think critically about typography, color, and composition. Vector tool tutorials were clear, and even as someone with minimal Illustrator experience, I could follow along smoothly. The instructor's passion really came through in the videos—motivating and clear. What could be improved: While the theory sections were strong, I would’ve liked to see more real brand case studies and redesign critiques. A walkthrough of the complete client presentation process (like slides, mockups, usage guidelines) would have been a great addition. There were a few minor gaps in the quiz content—some questions felt too easy or not aligned with the lessons. How the course helped me: I now have the confidence to not only design logos but also present them with strategic clarity. I created a personal brand logo that I’m genuinely proud of—something that represents my values and design voice. The course bridged the gap between creativity and business thinking, which is something I always struggled with as a self-taught designer.
